gazi

Gazi & Kerameikos

This is a great location for someone planning to check out how the real young generation of Greeks spends a night out. It's a very special place full of bars, clubs. Worth going for a cocktail. Most of the places are located near to the blue line metro station Kerameikos.

monastiraki

Monastiraki

A must-see for visitors and locals alike, Monastiraki is a loud flea market, very close to Plaka and Acropolis. A big number of little shops and street vendors with hand-made things, clothes, shoes, souvenirs, jewelry, paintings, bags, decorations, food, drinks, and all sorts of products can be found there.

syntagma

Syntagma Square

If you're visiting Athens, then chances are you'll visit Syntagma Square. Here you'll get some good Athens experience here! There were lots of nice restaurants here, some decent shops with local merchandise, and access to the Acropolis. The people were friendly, and the streets were fairly easy to navigate. You'll enjoy the Square!

plaka

Plaka

It is so quaint and pleasant to walk around. Cobbled little roads, every corner there is a suprise little jewellery shop. Gorgeous unspoilt old buildings, even the souvenir shops are old buildings. Safe to walk around even late at night.

acropolis1

Acropolis

This is a must-see destination for world travelers. The Acropolis is near the inexpensive Metro line. The path layout which leads you past theatres and climbs to an opening for the view of the Parthenon is superb.

psiri

Psiri

A lot of nice small restaurants and bars. It is also a nice place to walk around. That was a part of old Athens and they re-build old houses to nice traditional small restaurants. Most of them have live bouzouki music where you can eat traditional plates.
